Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our Child Team located in Athens, OH.
As an Outpatient Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical counseling services to individuals, groups, and families, to include diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual counseling, crisis counseling/intervention and some case management. Therapists must be able to work collaboratively with school personnel, parents, and other professionals.
What do we look for in our Outpatient Therapist??
- Eligible to work in the United Stated
- Master’s Degree in a mental health related field with licensure by the Ohio CSWMFT Board.
- Experience providing counseling services to children and adolescents, particularly 5-12 year olds preferred
- Independent license and specialty training (e.g. Addictions, EMDR, CBT, etc.) preferred.
- Position requires good verbal and written communication skills,
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to be sensitive to the cultural needs of the clients,
