Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P., is seeking a skilled individual for our Order Service Administrator position with our logistics organization at our Waller, Texas location. The Administrator of Customer Service is an integral member of the Logistics department and drives customer satisfaction. The Administrator Customer Service (Order Services) is responsible for optimizing inventory deployment and having an operational and tactical view of the business; balancing customer needs with those of the corporation to meet company goals and customer Satisfaction. Responsibilities:
May include;
  • Interact daily with assigned customers regarding order management and escalations Organize and host regular update meetings with customers as requested
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Provide inputs to improve the inventory allocation and routing process Identify exceptions and take appropriate actions including but not limited to prioritizing or postponing deliveries
  • Analyze various operational and tactical aspects of the business to develop and implement tools for the Customer Service team Work with IT to explore, download, and process data required for process improvements
  • Provide / implement a majority of the solutions at a customer-specific level
  • Determine customer’s top needs, deploy to strategic locations, re-adjust orders to priorities
  • Conduct pre-season stock planning
  • Maintain master data in host ERP system and/or local databases
  • Support inventory optimization efforts throughout the company owned distribution channel (COD) and independent distribution channel
  • Create and manage a point–of-sale forecast and stocking plan (Inventory levels, replenishment strategies etc) based on data analysis and inputs from the customer
  • Daily interaction with internal departments such as the sales team, inventory planning, and production planning
  • Maintain an organized system of tracking and prioritizing orders to ensure prompt fulfillment
  • Manage, identify, research, and resolve customer equipment and/or service parts shipping disputes
  • Process daily releases of orders and truckloads per the shipping plan
  • Assist Managers and planners in overflow of day-to-day job functions
  • Execute research strategies to improve productivity and increase customer satisfaction
Qualifications:

Nature and Scope:

  • Performs daily Customer Service functions regarding inquiries, order maintenance, and truck releases
  • Uses analytical training to build strategic deployment plans with customers to improve service and resolve escalations

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic HVAC product knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of MS Access/SQL
  • Ability to analyze data to identify key business indicators and trends that drive results
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management & interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Excellent judgement making skills and ability to apply strong work ethics and integrity on the job
  • Results orientated, dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives


Experience:

  • 6+ years of customer-facing role in a Logistics Organization with Excel-based analysis/reporting functions or may consider 3+ years with a related degree in Business or Administration
  • 1+ years of inventory deployment experience
  • 6+ months of order services inventory planning training in standard processes, optimization, & SQL coding

Education:

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
  • College degree preferred – Business or Administration
