POSITION SUMMARY:

The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for performing various activities to support the manufacturing process with attention to detail and accuracy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

• Creating and Managing Purchase Orders
• Reviewing Purchase Orders to ensure accurate customer information, quotes, and pricing
• Entering data accurately into ERP system
• Responsible for creating and issuing out vend Purchase Orders
• Assists Finishing Manager with running Material Reports when needed
• Run Global Scheduling when needed
• Communicate and prioritize customer needs with sales, scheduling, quality and production management when needed
• Effectively manage and work with Quality Control on all RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) as they relate to scheduling, production prioritization, and delivery date to the customer
• Creates customer return jobs links to sales order
• Additional tasks as assigned

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Good organization skills
• Basic Computer Skills

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):

• Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Understanding of ERP Software
