Position Overview:
Chicago-based administrator for office of 15 -20 employees, providing general office management support through a variety of tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of all office and kitchen supplies, maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked office.
  • Assist in answering telephones and directing calls to the appropriate associate; find an alternative solution or transfer caller to voicemail when associate is unavailable.
  • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate conference room.
  • Monitor company calendar and conference room scheduling.
  • Receive, sort and forward incoming mail and packages; process outgoing mail.
  • Assist in the preparation of employee expense reports.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
  • Strong technical skills, with an emphasis on desktop/application support, mobile device support, and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and resourceful mentality
  • Adaptable and flexible demeanor
  • Overall willingness to learn and take on challenges
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent references

  • Candidates must complete a case study (approximately 2 hours) at Ironwood’s office to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day job responsibilities.
