The Care Center at Sunset Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking per diem Occupational Therapists ( OT ). The purpose of this position is to treat residents who have been referred to occupational therapy by the resident’s physician on written order. Identifying residents by diagnosis or observation or staff referral who may benefit from therapy and requests orders for evaluation and treatment. Occupational Therapist ( OT ) Qualifications:
- New York State Occupational Therapist ( OT ) licensure
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate accurately and precisely to patients and family members
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, not required
