Stanley Black & Decker seeks Cost Engineer (Job HQ in Towson, MD or remote w/in USA) to work within Global Supply Management, responsible for developing, tracking, and managing cost models and productivity initiatives across all of our businesses. Utilize cost modeling software and other innovative tools to drive productivity across raw materials, engineered components and finished goods. Build structured costs models from the ground up, incorporating all areas of manufacturing, overhead, raw materials & profit for mechanical components, finished goods & Commodities. Identify high-cost assemblies and high spend individual components/sub-assemblies through review of product/part drawings and evaluation of Costed Bill of Materials. Continuously enhance how all cost models are applied to raw materials, purchased components, and purchased products. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field and 4 years of Engineering Experience. Demonstrated ability to use: Modeling tools (ie., Linear Performance Pricing (LPP), Total Cost modeling (TCO), CBOM comparison); CAD and PLM; and DFM & DFMA. Salary: $106,538.
