Mid-level Cyber Security Analyst
Summary:
Hatalom has an immediate opening for a qualified Mid-level Cyber Security Analyst. The Mid-level Cyber Security Analyst will oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, verification & validation, and authorization processes necessary to assure that government systems meet cybersecurity standards and requirements. Candidates must have proven experience providing cybersecurity support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mid-level Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for Cyber Engineering at the Security Operations Center (SOC) and maintaining compliance of remote training systems. Support Authorization to operate (ATO) re-accreditation.
Mid-level Cyber Security Analysts in this position are expected to:
· Provide analysis of architectures, technologies, policies, information and analytic data used to determine prevention, detection, and mitigation of anomalous activity, vulnerabilities and inefficiencies.
· Perform cyber situational awareness activities and provide analysis and recommendations of situation awareness capabilities.
· Documenting preliminary or residual security risks for system operation & manage and approve DoD RMF Authorization Packages. Verifying that the software application/network/system accreditation and assurance documentation is current
· Provide operational assessments, analysis, metrics, recommendations, and enhancements to address Current Operations, Future Operations and long term plans.
· Provide proactive cyber security, incident management, and impact assessments based on enterprise cyber security capabilities implemented.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must have a SECRET security clearance with the ability to upgrade to TOP SECRET/SCI.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None at the current time.
LOCATION: Cherry Point, NC - relocation assistance is not available for this position.
STATUS OF POSITION: Full-time, Salary Exempt
