Have Heart Healing and Wellness is a multidisciplinary group practice committed to collective liberation, healing justice, and belonging to a vibrant community of practitioners with shared values. We believe that healing is an essential piece of creating a more just and liberated world. Accordingly, our practice focuses are embodied trauma healing, healing from gendered violence, affirming care for trans, queer and nonbinary communities, and eating disorder and body image work from a body liberation perspective. We draw heavily on our interdependence, knowing that our clinical work is only strengthened by the relationships we have with one another.
We are looking for fully licensed Master’s level clinicians (associates will be considered) to join Have Heart. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to social justice values and practice, a working knowledge of experiences of systemic oppression, and has clinical experience working with eating disorders/disordered eating, somatic trauma therapy, as well as experience working inside of queer, trans, and gender non conforming communities. We are looking for team members to join us who are looking to be part of our community for the long haul (5 years) and who are excited to actively grow and invest in the culture and contribution of Have Heart.
Required Qualifications
- Current mental health license in WA State (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW). Associates will be considered
- Associate level clinicians commit to staying with practice for minimum of 1 year post licensure
- Desire and commitment to deepening experience in somatic work
- Ability to work collaboratively and share mutual support with other team members
- Desire to be part of a community of therapists, not just a solo practitioner
- Capacity to know, assert and keep the therapeutic frame with clients
- Ability to reflect critically in regards to self of the therapist and share openly about own process
- Excited to consult with colleagues, team members, and clinical director to develop clinical skills
- Responds to feedback with grace and humility
- Seeks feedback from supervisor, peers, and colleagues
- Utilizes kind, respectful, and professional communication
- Provides responsive, accountable, and superb mental health services that are relevant to and prioritize those who are most impacted by trauma and oppression
- Commitment to increasing access to healing for QTBIPOC
- Desire to expand one’s therapeutic knowledge and skills through trainings, readings, and other educational opportunities
- Excited about networking and building connections in therapist community
- Responds to communication from all team members within 24 hours
- Ability to work a mixture of weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Weekday sessions occur between 8 AM and 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM and 9:30 PM. Weekend sessions occur between 9 and 3:30 PM. *Flexibility is available for work from home days.
- Capacity to build and maintain caseload of 20-24 client appointments/week
- Ability to manage time and schedule efficiently and adhere to agreed upon schedule
- Conduct oneself in alignment with the standards of the appropriate professional association associated with your license
- Other duties as agreed upon
Desired Qualifications
- Lived Black, Indigenous, or person of color experience
- Experience working with queer and trans clients
- Training in EMDR, IFS, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Organic Intelligence, Somatic Experiencing, or other somatics and trauma modalities
- Experience or interest in working with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image
- Working knowledge of body liberation
- Interest in supervising and mentoring new clinicians
- Passion for growing knowledge around social justice/world issues
- Engaged in personal and professional community
- Ability and desire to be involved in growing one’s caseload
*This position will be best suited to clinicians who are not interested in pursuing other private practice endeavors and are looking to be part of a growing community of practitioners for the long term
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay based on clients served and hours workedStarting compensation at $57,000-$80,000/year DOE
- Compensation for marketing efforts and networking

- Comprehensive administrative support including intakes, client matching, scheduling, payment processing

COVID-19 considerations:
We are still operating remotely and providing telehealth. When we do return to office, team members and clients will be at full choice around continuing telehealth or resuming in person sessions. We plan to require mask and proof of vaccination.
