Member Experience Manager - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for the oversight of the Member Services Managers across the Member Center network and serves as an additional floating manager.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of member center projects that bring consistency and efficiency across the member center network.
  • Evaluates staffing needs in each region and assigns the Member Services Manager to cover where needed.
  • Will be a subject matter expert in every position of the Member Center and learn what it takes to be a strong leader in the organization.
  • Will ensure established policies and procedures are followed and an exceptional experience is achieved for members.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the member experience and promotes adherence to service expectations and goal achievement.
  • Provides a high level of hospitality and operates with a sense of urgency while leading the team to achieve goals that impact the organizational strategies and initiatives that support the Member Promise.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: A two-year college degree or completion of specialized course of study at business or trade school. Must be/or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of credit union products, sales policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow company policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • At all times follow the core values of credit union - honesty, truth, respect, and integrity.
  • Must be highly detailed.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This position is subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all loan officers engaged in residential loan mortgage originations (as defined by the SAFE Act) must register with the federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements. If at any time the credit union determines that your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to register successfully or to maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act will affect your eligibility for continued employment and may result in your immediate termination.
