The Medication Aide role includes providing hands on care, and physical and emotional support to each resident, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Medication Aide Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• Provides residents' personal hygiene assistance as needed.
• Provides for activities of daily living such as assisting with transferring, bathing, dressing, ambulating, and repositioning residents as necessary.
• Maintains resident stability by checking vital signs and weights.
• Answers call lights and requests; reporting at-risk observations of the resident to Wellness leadership.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records in Quick Mar.
• Maintains safety by following policies and procedures.
• Keeps all HIPAA protected information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining Nebraska licensure.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be licensed in NE as a Medication Aide, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
• Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents.

Education: High school or equivalent; 40-hour Nebraska Med Aide
