Hiring for a medical marketer.

We are a well-known pulmonary practice in St. Lucie West interviewing for a part-time medical marketer for our demographic area of Port Saint Lucie, Fort. Pierce, Jensen Beach, and perhaps Stuart and Okeechobee area. We want to market our pulmonary practice as well as ancillary services such as comprehensive pulmonary function testing (PFTs), allergy immunotherapy services, infusion center, and both pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation to combinations of primary care and other specialties such as primary care, cardiology, etc. We have other ancillary services to market, also.

We are looking for A-players, not dabblers or people happy with a C and a donut.

Essential Job Description/duties: This is what I am interested in pursuing but will modify based on market conditions and feedback.

1. Design a marketing plan and develop or use existing print materials to increase referrals to our practice for new pulmonary patients and to market for referrals from other practices to send patients just for our ancillary services. I have two full top-of-the-line pulmonary function testing labs, which includes PFTs with body plethysmography, impulse oscillometry, methacholine challenge testing, and exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) analysis. We also perform 6 minute walk testing, allergy testing and immunotherapy, have an infusion center for biologic medications and IV drugs, we perform in-house ultrasounds (echos, carotids, abdomens, extremities, etc.) read by specialists, but most especially I want referrals to our pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation programs. Those classes are four days/week.

2. Market to primary care offices in PSL, Ft. Pierce, Jensen Beach, relevant parts of Stuart, and Okeechobee to market our practice for the pulmonary side, as well as to solicit referrals for our ancillary services.

3. Market to local ENT to promote our partnership with MedSpeech, who are speech therapy voice experts who specialize in vocal cord dysfunction, dysphonia, and aspiration, to make sure ENTs know they are here weekly doing video stroboscopy, voice therapy, speech therapy, and evaluating for aspiration with Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), which is far more accurate than a barium swallow. These are the real voice experts.

4. Market to other pulmonary practices in town to refer their COPD and post-COVID patients for pulmonary rehab. It's not a transfer of care, they can just refer their patients for pulmonary rehab.

5. Market to cardiology in the broad geographic area to refer their patients for cardiac rehabilitation, which includes patients who are post-MI, PCI, PTCA, AVR, TAVR, MVR, chronic heart failure, and chronic stable angina, and to refer their patients who are still short of breath despite cardiac optimization for pulmonary function testing (is it their lungs or are they just weak?) and for their patients who are on amiodarone.

6. Market to any other specialties who could refer to our ancillary services.
