Our medical practice is looking to hire an enthusiastic part-time medical assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will be working directly with our doctors and patients, monitoring IVs, as well as collecting urine for urine drug testing, paternity test collection(oral swab), & phlebotomy, so we're looking for a professional who really cares about our doctors' well being and the health of the patients. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented multitasker who will assist the doctor by handling a variety of tasks including answering phones and greeting patients, assisting with lab work, general office duties, along with those listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, phlebotomy, monitoring IVs, phlebotomy, paternity test collection, DOT Physcial workup, Veterans Evaluation Services workup.
• Assist healthcare providers with a variety of medical tasks.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to meet primary care objectives.
• Work with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Manage patient flow, transporting patients between examination rooms or locations as needed.
• Educate patients about preventive care and disease management programs.
• Direct patients to lab services and medical imaging facilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
