Position: Medical Assistant

Locations: St. Petersburg, FL 33710

Pay rate: $17.00 -19.00 per hour

Medical Assistant Shift:

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Medical Assistant responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist in the assessment of patient needs
• Obtain and record vital signs, blood pressure, medical history, medications and mental status
• Complete documentation in medical software
• Restock and prepare the medial suites for examinations
• Perform office and clinical duties as assigned by the supervisor which may include tracking inventory, ordering supplies, performing blood draws and serving lab technician.

What will you need as a Medical Assistant:

• Must be Certified Medical Assistant or can obtain it 90 days after being hired on
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; graduate from an accredited school of medical assisting
• CPR certification
• Background and drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
