JOB SUMMARY:
- Under direct supervision of a physician, performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Performs other functions to support hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations.
- Delivers service in conjunction with the hospital's customer service standards and expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
- Graduate of medical assistant curriculum or equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- Supports Rheumatology Dr in front and back office and occassionally may cover for Internal Medicine Suite.
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AS POSITION MAY MOVE TO A NEW LOCATION IN NEAR FUTURE.
- HOURS MAY VARY normally either 8 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 to 5 pm M-F.
