About the Role:

Loparex LLC, the world’s leading supplier of extrusion base and silicone

coated release liners for the converting industry, is actively recruiting

for a Maintenance Controls Technician for our Malvern, PA facility.

*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SWING SHIFT SCHEDULE* 2 weeks of Day Shift

(6a-6p), 2 weeks of Night Shift (6p-6a), 2 weekends Off. Each work week is 42 hours.

This role is within the United Steel Workers local 333 Union workforce.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and follow all applicable safety and environmental

requirements.

  • Follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.
  • Maintain, repair, and regulate electrical equipment including circuitry,

manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-locking systems, heating

controls, sensing devices, DC & AC drives.

  • Connect electrical for all new equipment.
  • Document & maintain electrical alterations to equipment in

schematic drawings.

  • Proficient with various PLC’s and have the ability to maintain,

troubleshoot and must be able to make program changes.

  • Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment.
  • Proficient with all machine drives such as Digital, Servos, Analog and

VFD’s.

  • Input information into the maintenance management systems and keep

documents and records complete.

  • It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing

and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be

assigned to our jobs.

  • Experience with Alan Bradley and Siemens machinery a plus.

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must act in a professional manner and have a positive work attitude

and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • 3 to 5 years experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent

electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be able to maintain, repair, and adjust electrical equipment

including circuitry, manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-

locking systems, heating controls, sensing devices, DC & AC

drives.

  • Must have experience with PLC’s and have the ability to maintain,

troubleshoot and must be able to make program changes.

  • Must have education, electrical training, experience and initiative to

work in a safe manner.

  • Physical ability to perform the required work including bending,

climbing, stooping, handling heavy materials (50 lb. max.), and

equipment components in and around the plant.

Salary info:

$36.77 - $36.77 / hr
