Job description
Acara Solutions is looking for a Materials Handler for our client located in Buffalo Grove, IL
- Provides material handling support to warehouse, quality, and production departments to ensure on time receipt and delivery of material.
- Is responsible for safe and damage-free movement of material by use of pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Works under the direction of supervisor and in the support of warehouse, quality and production team leads and senior assembly personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is $18.38 per hour (Max Pay rate).
- At least a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6-month Warehouse Picking Experience.
- Ability to diagnose basic inventory discrepancies.
- Knowledge of material handling work procedures, pick lists, and protocols.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Max lifting weight 40lbs
- Work 12 hrs daily.
- Work up to 6 days a week.
- Stand for long periods of time (12 hrs. on your feet except for breaks and lunch).
