Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Individual must be capable of performing all of the following job duties as required:

• Must be able to communicate well with others.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining records of ingredients and packing materials to ensure proper rotation and 100% traceability.
• Responsible for all GMP’s (good manufacturing practices)
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Conveys materials from storage areas or work sites to designated areas.
• Responsible to help maintain neat, clean and organized warehouse
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production lines.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles.
• Required to work overtime as needed.
• Responsible for specific reasons for downtime due to lack of ingredients or packaging.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Notify Lead or Supervisor of problems with packaging material and complete problem report to substantiate claim.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Trash compactor trained
• Bailer trained
• SAP trained / Data input into SAP system
• OSHA Forklift License.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education and / or Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
