PIRATE COVE WATERFRONT RESORT – MARKETING MANAGER

PIRATE COVE RESORT, the largest and busiest waterfront resort, on the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada and Lake Havasu, Arizona is hiring a management professional for its Marketing Department. This person will work primarily from the resort’s corporate office in Lake Havasu. Candidates must have high energy and enjoy working in sales and customer service.

Qualifications Required:

· Must travel periodically to Southern California, Nevada and Arizona; these travels may be required on weekends and holidays.

· Must have excellent customer service skills as well as clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

· Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and other graphic programs and work closely with independent consultants who provide video, graphics, website and social media assistance.

· Must have knowledge of social media marketing as well as the ability to implement.

· Must have organization skills which are critical to schedule marketing events as well as the promotional staff, equipment and relevant materials required for these events.

Job Description:

· Represent the resort to customers, the public, government officials and other external sources.

· Coordinate and attend all events at the resort and put together all logistics for customer meetings and trade shows in Nevada, Arizona and Southern California. This includes scheduling travel accommodations, promotional staff and uniforms, equipment and relevant marketing materials for these events.

· Solicit and maintain an active list of promotional staff.

· Update and maintain website, social media sites and marketing materials.

· Monitor, document and report monthly marketing and promotional activities.

Compensation – $60,000 Based on experience and skills.
