The Maintenance Technician-Electrical will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery. This individual will perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. The ideal candidate should have timely response to emergency repairs, along with implementation, monitoring, and follow-up of preventative maintenance schedule for the manufacture and operating equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and perform necessary repairs
- Electrical Maintenance on production equipment to include motors, controls and drives
- Pull wires and terminate conductors in disconnects, panel boards, control panels, motor starters
- Maintenance of all equipment, including breakdowns preventative maintenance and facility support
- Preventative maintenance on Equipment-identifies weakness in design and implements improvements
- Read electrical and electronic schematics basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, diagnose, replace and maintain electrical motors and motor controllers including manual starters push buttons, relays, control transformers, magnetic starters, VFD, electrical controls, apparatus, electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment,
- Maintain and troubleshoots camera systems
- Working with both low voltage signal, control, and power circuits up to 480 volts
- Handle assigned work orders and project work relating to modification, fabrication, and installation of equipment, plus performance of general shop maintenance assignments
- Follows all safety precautions and procedures
QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:
- Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience with low voltage control through 480Volt 3Phase Power Change 1 to 5
- Works well independently and with others
- Good communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work weekends and or Overtime as required
