Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Assist in the upkeep and repair of production equipment such as piping systems, pumps, control equipment and valves. Work in conjunction with the customer for daily production related assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overhauling of equipment shop environment

• Repair/replace piping systems including demolition.

• In field replacement of valves, pumps, actuators and gear boxes

• Completion of forms required for equipment history.

• Annual Compliance Training & Continued Education

• General Housekeeping

• Analysis of failures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Five or more years of mechanical systems experience.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Fork truck operator’s license, JLG operator’s license preferred.

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work from technical manual or blueprint.

Physical Demands:

Able to lift 50 pounds. Climb ladders and stairs. Be able to pass exam for use of respirator.

Work Environment:

The environment is hot and humid in the summer and cold and blustery in the winter. Hardhats, gloves, long sleeves, steel toed shoes and FRC clothing is a minimum at all times. Hazards are identified throughout plant.
