Overview: The Child Development Center is a nonprofit who partners with families to help them support their children with developmental disabilities where they live, play and grow. We work in families’ homes and communities across western Montana. The Center is headquartered in Missoula, MT, with an additional office in Kalispell, MT.

Job Details:

The Child Development Center is looking for an experienced, part time (5-10 hours/week) General Maintenance worker who can provide their own tools.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of the maintenance worker will include:

1) Perform minor to moderate repair of all buildings and equipment.

2) Perform preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.

3) Perform semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Kalispell CDC buildings.

4) Complete monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

5) Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replace faulty electrical switches; repair refrigeration equipment.

6) Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.

7) May require light carpentry duties.

8) Assist with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repair plaster and drywall; paint building structures.

9) Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

10) Perform outside custodial duties.

11) May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; order parts as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

One year of relevant building maintenance experience OR a combination of education and experience

Ability to pass a background check

Valid Montana driver’s license and have reliable insured transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
