Now Hiring! - Maintenance Manager

This opportunity is perfect for a positive team leader who possesses a strong mechanical background and solid business skills. Within the vision of creating “Supremely Satisfying Snacks”, the Maintenance Manager will help oversee the objectives of the maintenance team to ensure optimal functioning, care and repair of all manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Manager will also work closely with the projects team to ensure major issues are communicated and improvement projects are effectively planned.

Key duties of the role include the management and training of the maintenance team (approximately 15 people), the implementation and operation of a preventative maintenance program, and the maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and laws.

To be successful in this role, the individual must be technically savvy, industrious, and truly passionate about leadership and training. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, computer skills, and numerical skills will also be crucial to the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education and/or certification in a related field required
• Minimum 2 years in a management or supervisory role
• Minimum 2 years in a maintenance/mechanical role
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry an asset
• Ability to read rule readings and measurements as well as blueprints
