General Summary:
The LP Floor Monitor provides ongoing customer service to members by demonstrating the use of exercise equipment, proper form in performing exercises and providing a resource for exercise-related questions. Works with the Wellness Services Manager to organize, deliver and evaluate coverage for the fitness areas, special programs, events and classes. Provides information and suggestions under the guidance and direction of the LifePointe certified and degreed exercise staff.
Principal Job Functions:
- Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs of Bryan Health and consistently demonstrates our Core Values.
- Consults with member regarding their exercise program and informs exercise and fitness staff of needed assistance or member support.
- Answers general client questions and inquiries regarding fitness and training; demonstrates the correct exercise form and procedure for new and existing members on exercise equipment.
- Monitors general aspects of the fitness area to ensure quality service and maintenance of resources necessary to fulfill the fitness requirements of members.
- Consistently applies and enforces all fitness center rules, regulations and safety guidelines as outlined in the rules and bylaws.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Current CPR/AED certification required. Minimum of two (2) years coursework in Exercise Science or health fitness field required. Prior health club experience preferred.
