Position: Sample Prep Logistics Assistant

Location: Research Triangle Pa, NC, 27709

Duration: 6 months contract

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Shift: This position works 4 -9-hour days, M - Th, and a half day on Friday
Start time is between 6:30 - 7:00 AM for all days. It will be important to be on time.

Job Description:

Sample Prep & Logistics Assistant the Sample Prep & Logistics Assistant will support the Consumer & Environmental Safety Department at Agricultural Solutions. Will assist with the receipt, processing, storage, and distribution of research samples. Will provide electronic and written documentation in harmony with department guidelines Will support other logistics activities related to samples. Requirements - Proven record of being reliable and showing up to work each day - Exceptional attention to detail - Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices - Ability to lift between 25-80 pounds - Must adhere to all safe work practices and were the appropriate PPE for the task…i.e., hearing protection, safety glasses, lab coat, freezer coat/gloves, etc. - Standard pre-employment drug test will be administered along with full background check and compliance onboarding process per B standards. - Cannot have a full beard in this role as it will interfere with wearing of mask
