Job description

Small’s Sand & Gravel, Small's Ready-Mix, and Small's Asphalt Paving is accepting applications for CDL Drivers, Class A or B. Home daily, local hauling within the central Ohio area (Knox, Licking, Coshocton, Ashland, Richland and Morrow Counties only). We provide the trucks, you provide the skill to haul the following materials:

• Ready-Mixed Concrete
• Asphalt
• Sand and Stone products
• Topsoil
• Equipment for use on our job sites

CDL Driver applicant needs to be able to operate any of the following based on daily need:

• Concrete Mixer
• Articulated Rock Truck
• Semi Tractor-Trailer
• Dump Truck
• - Single
• - Tandem
• - 6 Axle

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Class A or B CDL license
• Safe Driving Record
• Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
• Must be able to drive a Standard/Manual Transmission

Our typical work week is Monday-Friday (Home Daily). We pride ourselves in having new and well-maintained trucks and equipment.

Small’s Sand & Gravel, Inc., Small’s Asphalt Paving, Inc., Small’s Inc. Ready-Mix Concrete and Small’s Trucking, LLC are all located at one location at 10229 Killduff Rd. Gambier, Oh 43022.

Our company work throughout Central Ohio in Knox, Coshocton, Delaware, Licking, Morrow, and Richland Counties. We work Monday through Friday.

Small’s Sand & Gravel opened in the mid-1970s and has grown into the 4-division family-owned business it is today, including 3 generations of Small's.
