Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Description

· Assumes responsibility and accountability for designated patients

· Help with the preparation, implementation and continuing evaluation of the patient care

Plan

· Provides nursing care for all patients within scope of LVN practice

· Instructs patients regarding procedures and manages patient flow

· Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants on the floor

· Provide basic medical and nursing care to patients by taking vitals, answering questions, and keeping patients comfortable

· Report to RNs and physicians and collaborate to provide patient care and provide status updates

· Record patient progress or any changes in their health

· Discuss patient status to family members

· Collect and send medical samples to labs as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Valid LVN CA license

· Minimum of 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting

· Must have a CPR/BLS certificate

Proficient in using Point Click Care or PCC

Willing to work in a 4/2 schedule- 2 months contract

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

• Night shift
