Insurance Agent responsibilities and duties:

Develop positive working relationships with clients

Deliver policy proceeds after a claim is filed and approved

Explain the differences in policy specifics so clients can make informed decisions about their purchases

Complete a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed

Respond to clients' questions and complaints

Work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment

Be a team player

Job qualifications and skills:

1+ years experience as an insurance agent

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

P&C license required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pleasant telephone manner

Ability to explain complex issues and concepts to customers so that they understand them fully

Must have good computer skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferable

Notice of Licensing Requirement

As a condition of your employment, you are expected to comply with the state-specific licensing process and requirements to perform work as an insurance agent, customer relationship specialist, direct sales specialist, or outbound specialist. If you do not complete these requirements within the time frame designated by the hiring department, your contract with A better Choice Insurance may be terminated. Please also note that any outstanding fines that you may have previously incurred are your responsibility and must be paid as a condition of your employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
