We are looking to hire full-time master’s level clinicians to meet the needs in the community.

The desirable applicant is willing to work with a collaborative team of therapists, nutritionists, psychiatrists and other specialist in the field of Behavioral Health. A desire to continue to grow as a therapist and eager to learn. Licensed therapists should hold state licensure such as LSW , LCSW, LPC, or LCPC. Free weekly clinical supervision is provided to encourage ongoing licensure and growth in the field.

Ascend offers free supervision from several licensed experienced therapists having worked with professional athletes, Olympic medalists, as well as college athletes. You’ll get to collaborate with the team multiple times a week during case consultation, supervision and team meetings in an environment that encourages you to ask questions and help co-workers. Team collaboration is key to this successful, thriving family where everybody’s input is valuable. Therapist and dieticians work together to provide the best care for all clients. The Ascend team collaborates with outside therapists, primary care physicians, psychiatrists and schools to provide the best treatment for all clients.

The Experience:

-Conduct psychotherapy for individuals, groups and/or families

- Conduct group programming for partial hospitalization as well as intensive outpatient programming

-Coordinate treatment within a multidisciplinary team

-Collaborate with outside providers to ensure superior care in support of client growth and recovery

-Provide psychotherapy and performance development with students, athletes, teams, & artistic performers

Candidate Qualifications:

-Licensure or ability to obtain Professional License Required: Clinical Psychologist, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapist, other

-Experience conducting group and individual psychotherapy

-Clinical Leadership and/or management experience preferred

-Experience in the clinical treatment of eating and weight related disorders preferred

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

-Entrepreneurial, solutions-based individuals looking to join a team of innovative clinicians are welcome

Current Illinois Professional License is preferred. Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Benefits include, 401k, 5 paid Federal Holidays, paid vacation, parking and BCBS Health Insurance.
