Seeking motivated individual that demonstrates high level of attention to detail and organization while working autonomously.

Job Description:

• Interpret blueprints and other paperwork to determine marking(s) required for incoming jobs.
• Set up, program, and run jobs on the appropriate laser depending on print requirements and dimensions of parts.
• Notify appropriate parties of completed jobs and any pertinent information such as serial numbers to be recorded.
• Transport completed jobs to the next department listed on paperwork. Track jobs and organize priority based on shop need and laser availability.
• Assist Engineering, Programming, and Project Managers with details on requirements and specifications need for individual jobs or materials as well as time needed for completion.
• Communicate with all departments on workflow and other requirements for production.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets to track serial number strings as well as parts entering or leaving the department.
• Cut all stencils, reproduce artwork, and print screen templets for the Silkscreen department.
• Assist other departments with cutting or engraving materials as necessary.
• Maintain the department and all lasers for function, safety, and cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run jobs as assigned by laser supervisor.
• Retrieve program for the part assigned and adjust as necessary.
• Place each part in the laser correctly to ensure they are completely and accurately marked.
• Watch for discrepancies in markings as well as part quality and report findings to supervisor.
• Log time in the computer and fill out all paperwork for each job. Log all required information in spreadsheets and notify Supervisor of completion.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machines. Other duties to be assigned as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience preferred but not necessary as company is willing to train

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and sitting and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
