Operations Manager Landscape Maintenance:

YardDoc is looking for an experienced landscape professional to join our team and help develop and grow the landscape maintenance operations of our business

The ideal candidate would have good interpersonal skills, know what great landscape maintenance looks like, have a good knowledge of plants, maintenance equipment, customer management and would be able to inspire others to do a great job

Planning and executing an operational schedule will be part of the role, including managing the people and equipment to be able to deliver on the plan. Teaching people and following up with quality control would be a key part of the role

As a small team we need someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and step in to help when needed

A number of years in a landscape maintenance role would be required and Irrigation experience would be a big plus

Must have a drivers licence and be able to pass a background check

Pay will be based on experience and competence

Areas of focus include:

Landscape maintenance

Irrigation

People scheduling and planning activities will be the biggest part of the role

Customers – requests and executing on them, complaints and resolving them, selling services

Bidding landscape maintenance jobs

Managing quality

People development – interviewing, coaching, managing

Quality – teaching, checking

Lawn and plant care

Equipment maintenance

Vehicle maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
