We are seeking an animal loving kennel attendant / grooming assistant to join our talented team! The ideal candidate would be someone who loves all types of animals and enjoys taking care of them. This position is arguably the most fun here at Petcare & Surgery Center. Our kennel attendant / grooming assistant will need to be patient, kind, and ready to work. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Cleaning of kennels daily
- Feeding & caring for animals daily
- Take dogs out on leash for potty breaks
- Scooping dog poop
- Laundry
- Maintain training premises
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize training area
- Monitor and record information about animals behavior i.e. potty schedule, eating, etc.
- This position will also assist the groomer with different tasks on occasion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Animal care experience
- Reliable transportation
- Be able to lift 50+ lbs and be physically active
- High school diploma or GED
SALARY:
- 10.50 / hour
- Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
- Increased pay on Saturday & Sunday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Pittsburg, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
