The ANGARAI Accountant will support the President & Chief Executive Officer (President & CEO), Accounting Department, and Business Operations function with important accounting/finance services (including resolving accounting/finance issues) within the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The ANGARAI Accountant will support the President & Chief Executive Officer (President & CEO), Accounting Department, and Business Operations function with important accounting/finance services (including resolving accounting/finance issues) within the organization.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line
- Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
- Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance Specialization or equivalent; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year’ experience in Accounting/Finance functions
- Experience with accounting software and data entry
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills.
