GlobaLogix, Inc is an industry leader in SCADA System Designs, professional services for consulting and project leadership, cybersecurity, concept development, controls philosophy design, business analytics and intelligence, subsea production systems, I&E Construction, Electrical Engineering, Network Design, Controls, Programming of PLC | HMI | RTU, and Communications. We conduct projects in the Energy, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Water / Wastewater, Infrastructure, and Chemical industries.

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our west Texas operations. Local candidates are preferred but we are open to hiring non-local candidates to work on a 2:1 rotation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance inspections and testing of various electrical systems
• Coordinate and supervise multiple electrical contractors and electrical facility design.
• Install electrical equipment such as: cable tray, conduit, switchboards, MCCs, etc.
• Build, wire, and terminate PLCs and control panels with proper documentation and testing.
• Work will be performed with the oil and gas production environment. The electrical facilities consist of motors, motor controls relating to pumping units, electrical submersible pumps, LACT units, meters, etc.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• 3+ Years Electrical Experience in oil field, AC Electric, and Automation is preferred
• PLC Programming, configuring, troubleshooting, installation
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Effective communication skills and works well with a team
• Must possess a valid and current TDLR Journeyman Electrician license
