Field IT Support Technician

Global Computer Systems is seeking an energetic, skilled, and experienced IT professional to provide service and customer support during field visits.

You would be responsible for all tech support services and ticket resolutions. This position depends on your ability to build and maintain a solid relationship with our clients and support their systems, devices, network, and all end users.

Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate with our team to address our client's IT needs onsite and remotely. You will also work with us in resolving higher-level problems that you might not be able to resolve. You are responsible for getting to the bottom of various tech problems they may be facing and updating everything in our ticketing system.
Essential:
- Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022
- Windows 10 & 11 and Office Suite
- Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP experience in multiple environments.
- Understanding of Network ports and protocols.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Be able to remotely and onsite resolve LAN, WAN, and other networking issues.
- Work inside an RMM and ticketing system.
- Documentation and writing training manuals experience.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Desirable:
- Connectwise manage and Ninja RMM
- Understanding of Fortinet and Aruba Networking
- Trend-Micro, VMware, and Veeam experience.
- Exchange On-Prem or Exchange Online Experience
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
- 2+ years experience working in a windows environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
