POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Returns & Warranty Intake Rep is responsible for verifying and recording the product condition of physical items received as well as distributing virtual workloads amongst the Returns & Warranty team members. You are responsible for providing effective communication to our internal and external clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensure enough information is provided to proceed with the request or inquire with the person who opened the ticket to provide necessary information
2. Classify and assign out tickets to the respective team members who cover those activities
3. Validate and check in product received, noting quantity and condition for processing accuracy and efficiency.
4. Ensure all unassigned documents in our M-Files queue (Invoices & Credits) are distributed amongst the team members
5. Actively prepare for and participate in recurring inventory cycle counts.
6. Monitor aging product on shelves and relocating as needed to keep warehouse shelves organized and keeping similar product or process together; escalating to Leadership as needed.
7. Recycle product including working with the vendor to coordinate pick up.
8. Record defects and actively work to address and prevent repeating defects.
9. Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION
  • High school diploma required.

  • EXPERIENCE
  • Up to 1 year of related experience preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong customer service skills, ability to actively listen to others, demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills with internal clients.
  • Dedicated to the challenge of helping other people and displays a genuinely positive attitude and excitement for individual work, department, and company.
  • Knowledge of business collaboration tools including MS Office applications and company specific programs.
  • Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and operate with changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
