Papillion Enrichment Center is a growing childcare/preschool located in both Willoughby Hills and Chesterland, Ohio. We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team at the Chesterland location. Papillion is looking for a infant room teacher who has experience working in a licensed child care center, is loving, caring, compassionate, and would like to grow professionally.

Infant Room Teacher: Duties

- Working closely with the co teacher and other staff members at the center

- Assisting the children with both long term and short term activities in accordance to curriculum objectives.

- Maintain daily communication with parents and co teacher

- Keep all appropriate records of the children

- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children

- Light cleaning and maintenance of the classroom toys

- Attend In Service and staff meetings

- Interact with the children during play time and teacher facilitated activities

- Help to provide lesson plans in accordance to Papillion guidelines

- Changing diapers, and documenting each child's day

- Communicating with the parents via the school app and in person

Infant Room Teacher: Qualifications

- Must be able to meet the requirements of ODJFS regulations which include:

~ Background check ~ Physical ~ Proof of a Diploma ~Trainings

- Must be able to hear and see the children at all times while providing care at the center

- Must be able to lift and carry the children ( our center serves children that may weight up to 50 lbs)

- Must be able to walk, run, carry, bend down, in all situations but especially if a emergency should happen

- Must be able to problem solve and respond in a emergency situation

Infant Room Teacher Educational or Experience Related Qualifications:

- Must have proof of a high school diploma along with at least a year of experience in a licensed child care facility

or

- CDA certification

or

- Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education

Pay: $1,700.00 - $2,000.00 per month
