What it is:
We need a person who has a high attention to detail and can manage multiple projects in an ever-changing small business environment. This individual must be self-motivated and driven to excel. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients for a variety of products and services Black Box Intelligence provides. This position will work closely with customer project teams, Business Analysts, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Representatives to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions. An effective Implementation project manager can listen to and understand a customer’s requests, communicate with and lead internal support teams and ensure appropriate and timely execution of deliverables for customers.
Reports to: Manager, Implementation Services
Job Responsibilities
- Leading implementation kick-off calls to transition from sales to onboarding for the client.
- Establishing timelines and milestones for internal/external resources.
- Track tasks progress against timelines and escalate timing risks.
- Update status and timeline in project tracking (Monday.com)
- Communicate status and action items to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work jointly with Analyst team to review data files and provide feedback.
- Ensure data loading is complete and QA data to certify customer is GO LIVE ready.
- Prepare transition information to provide smooth handoff to Customer Success.
- Provide customer training as needed.
- Create and update internal and customer facing training materials.
- Provide post implementation support on an as needed basis to assist with Customer Care workload.
Technical Skills Required
- Familiarity with project/task management and project tool
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
- Proficient in Office (Outlook, Word and Power Point) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets and Slides)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus
- Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of SQL or equivalent is a plus
- Familiarity with relational databases is a plus

Job requirements:
- Experience: 0-2 years preferred
- Education: Four-year bachelor's degree preferred

What to expect in your first year:
The first 60 days, you are immersed in an intense learning stage. So, take advantage of one-on-one training before you must fly semi-solo. You will work closely with the Implementation Director and lead Analysts - first to shadow and learn, and then you will have your own set of projects to lead. Our new customer sales do not happen in a steady flow, so once you get past your initial learning curve you will have deadlines to meet for a fluctuating workload of parallel projects. To fill in when there are less new customer projects, you will assist on ad hoc projects and weekly production tasks. Often deadlines are almost on top of each other so you must be able to multi-task.

Training:
You’ll be trained primarily by the Implementation Services Manager and lead analysts and work closely with them on a day-to-day basis. You will also learn about our clients’ business and proprietary software, as well as our high level of standards and the company mission. Additional training on our data analytics toolset is available and encouraged.

Hours:
This position is a salaried, full-time position. Project/implementation deadlines will dictate your schedule to a large extent. It may take long hours and/or weekends to meet some deadlines. As we mentioned up front, you need to be passionate about what you do.
