HVAC Service Technician – Multifamily

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for the service, repair, install, and start-up heating and air conditioning systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

· Troubleshoot and repair of heat pump and conventional split systems, RTUs, VRV, VTAC, PTAC, exhaust, and Hydronic systems multi-family and commercial job sites

· Install, Calibrate, Program controls and accessories associated with HVAC equipment

· Perform start-up when needed on job sites, and all task involved in start-up procedure

· Communicate daily to all parties involved of work status

· Perform preventative maintenance for all types of HVAC equipment

· Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintaining of a clean work area

· Comply with all local and state laws and building codes

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

· High School diploma or GED

Experience:

· 5+ years in multi-family/residential service

Certifications
Licenses:

· OSHA 10 (preferred but not required)

· EPA universal certification

· Valid driver’s license

Other Requirements:

· Follow oral/written instructions and directions

· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing or electronically

· Clean driving history

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Work is performed in an outdoor and indoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat or cold and humidity

· Must be physically able to repetitively life and carry at least 50 pounds on a regular basis

· Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required

· Overtime as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

License/Certification:
