Bill Jacobs Motorsport, a fast-paced, family-owned dealer group is seeking a seasoned, talented and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team due to company growth. The ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in the HR field with strong experience in the reporting/compliance arena.

The Role at a Glance

This position will have a hand in varied HR functions that involve employee engagement, performance management, reporting/compliance, development and training, compensation and benefits and employee relations. Reporting to the CHRO you will partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and our back-office team to lead and shape the culture and structure of our organization.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on position requiring a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get work done. It requires a self-motivated, reliable individual, with the ability to work independently and an interest in taking on a variety of projects. · Administer compensation and benefit plans

· Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

· Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

· Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

· Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

· Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

· Undertake tasks around performance management

· Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics

· Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews

· Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

· Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

· Ensure compliance with labor regulations

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

· Proven experience as an HR Generalist

· Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

· Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Aptitude in problem-solving

· Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach

Nice-to-haves

· BS/BA in Human Resources or relevant field preferred

· Additional HR training will be a plus

· SHRM-CP/PHR certification a plus

· Experience in the automotive dealership environment will be a plus

· HRIS systems experience will be a plus

· Paylocity experience a plus
