Responsibilities:
The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located on 13 acres in Greer, SC, conveniently close to I-85. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance use treatment, inpatient programs are offered for adolescents, adults and senior adults. There are also intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders. Above all else, we treat every patient with compassion and respect. Using evidence-based treatment approaches and individualized care, we strive to instill hope in our patients, their families and our community.


We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, etc.) and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR–related activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of professional Human Resources experience; 3 years management experience required, and previous healthcare/hospital experience preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR. Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations. Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet based HR systems and email.
  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards preferred.
