Triple J Enterprises, Inc is looking to hire an HR Generalist!

The Human Resources Generalist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, affirmative action and employment equity program, benefits management, and payroll functions.

Essentials Functions

  • Performs benefits administration, communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes. Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communications and election process. Maintains and distributes list of new and cancelled employees under each benefit plan. Verifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
  • Administers COBRA for group health plans.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and harassment allegations.
  • Maintains employee personnel files.
  • Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
  • Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
  • Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
  • Acts as an employee relations specialist.
  • Updates, monitors and maintains eligible salary adjustments/increases based on three- and one-year evaluations.
  • Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Able to anticipate and understand employees' needs and provide viable solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field OR equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Two to four years of experience in human resource generalist role.
  • HR Certification a plus

Position Type:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to lift files and office supplies up to 20 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stoop as necessary.

Salary: From $28,000.00 per year
