JOB SUMMARY
  • Oversees and Manages all HR related processes and programs associated with assigned facilities/service lines within Phoebe Putney Health System Provides support to the assigned facilities/services lines on Human Resource practice, innovations and legal parameters. Manages all employee relations responsibilities, to include but not limited to, employee/management counseling and coaching, EEOC charges, unemployment hearings, legal issues, employee complaint investigations, the exit interview process, turnover analysis, etc. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization
  • Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
  • Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Frequent Travel.
  • Irregular and unpredictable long hours to include weekends.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
  • May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 - 4 years Experience in Human Resources (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Professional in Human Resources (PHR)

  • Must poses excellent communication skills needed to work with all employees, managers at all levels, senior administrative personnel, and both State and Federal agencies
