Your Role As a HealthStreamer

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner will drive and execute HR strategies to ensure a great employee experience while supporting HealthStream’s business goals and objectives. The HR Business Partner will work closely across HealthStream’s business units to design and execute on our people strategy including developing & implementing programs related to employee engagement, onboarding,employee engagement, offboarding, immigration, training, and HealthStream’s DE&I initiatives. In this role you will also assist with employee relations concerns and other projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to leaders of all levels and across various functions to execute on HR programs and initiatives.

• Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

• Investigate all claims brought forth by employees and manage complex employee relations cases ensuring managers receive practical advice and guidance in line with current legislation and HealthStream values.

• Continuously review and innovate employee onboarding and engagement programs including the buddy program and employee driven teams to create opportunities for connection and ensure employee engagement

• Manage the off-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition from the company for employees leaving the company.

• Support employee training & development programs through identifying needs, strategy, and program management.

• Collaborate with the HR team to manage the end to end HR lifecycle for company acquisitions.

• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

• Stay up to date on new & developing regulations, to maintain compliance.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers on management and approval of open roles including budget management

• Support VP of Human Resources and other company leaders on strategic projects and initiatives.

What You Will Need to be Successful

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required

• Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM certification (preferred/required)

• 3+ years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations

• Healthcare and/or SaaS industry experience is strongly preferred

  
  

Skills and Abilities Required

• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, training & development, employee engagement, diversity, M&A, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

• Knowledge of HRIS technology

• Data-driven and aware of HR trends, technology, and strategies

• Proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly

• Has an in-depth understanding of HR best practices, technologies, operations, and regulatory issues.

• Ability to develop strong and consultative relationships with leaders across levels and business functions

• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and deliver results within a fast-paced environment

• Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
