Oakwood Healthcare, a nursing home in the Northeast of Philadelphia, is hiring full time Housekeeper to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with liners.
• Report all hazardous conditions or equipment and accidents/incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain the confidentiality of patient/resident care information.
• Other Housekeeping duties as assigned
• Washing and drying linen.
• Folding of bed linens and terry linens.
• Washing and drying personal resident clothing.
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties; Cleans washers and dryers, dryer lint filters at end or near end of shift.

Comply with all company policies related to safety and infection control procedures including the proper use of mechanical lifts, gait belts and personal protective back supports!

Qualifications:

• Prior laundry/housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting
• Good customer service
