The Avid Hotel by IHG has an immediate openings for Housekeepers with Hotel experience. This is a full or part time position.

The Room Attendant cleans and restocks guestrooms and related areas safely and efficiently while complying with hotel policies, procedures, and standards of cleanliness.

1. Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.
2. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
3. Strip and make beds, change bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a max of 40 lbs.
4. Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
5. Push and pull vacuum and/or mop throughout the entire room.
6. Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guestrooms.
7. Stock housekeeping cart, push to assigned rooms; visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and sign off on completion of room; perform a quality check of television, telephone, heating/air conditioning, lighting, and promptly report any damage to engineering.
8. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis in uniform with name tag. Be well versed and informed regarding hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.
9. Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction and impress guests with quality and timely service in a friendly and efficient manner.
10. Properly store carts and unused supplies at the end of the shift.
