Horizontal Directional Drill Foreman

We are seeking an HDD Foreman candidate with experience in telecommunications Underground work to lead a construction crew. This role will be based in the Georgetown, TX. area.

What Do You Offer Us?

• Must be able to provide guidance and coordinate the activities of an HDD construction crew
• Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe, excavators, etc.
• Ability to locate & verify all utilities before construction
• Ability to maintain and/or repair our customer's telecommunications facilities
• At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction:
• Familiarity with Horizontal Directional Drills
• Ability to use cable placement equipment and tools
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
• Individuals must be able to read prints and have knowledge of the underground process.
• Must be knowledgeable with all typical safety procedures and apply them at all times
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

What is Required?

• Valid CDL License
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills is required
• Excellent client and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Willing to travel
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching, and be subject to extreme warm and cold temperatures.
