Responsibilities of Heavy Equipment Operator:

  • Operate various pieces of large equipment: Excavators, Cranes, Loaders, etc.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel equipment
  • Maintain, Inspect, Clean and occasionally repair pieces
  • Follow company procedures and safety regulations

Qualifications of Heavy Equipment Operator:

  • Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator
  • Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years of operator experience preferred
  • diesel technician training is provided as well
