Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalnt.
• Unencumbered Drivers License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of South Dakota. Prior Driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.
• C.P.R. Certification preferred but will certify the right candidate.

Responsibilities at Avantara Milbank

• Act as an admissions liaison, completing the new admission and discharge procedure.
• Visit with new potential referrals and/or admissions and their families to discuss facility offerings.
• Liaison between the local hospital and the facility.
• Complete clerical tasks such as admission paperwork.
• Provides training and acts as a resource to community staff on the importance of life enrichment, customer service and other areas regarding the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities at The Wellshire Park Place Assisted Living

• Develop and monitors a coordinated activities program in liaison with resident interests and community offerings.
• Provides residents with opportunities to attend local events in their community.
• Transportation to preferred community gatherings, place of worship, or errands on a needed basis.
• Works closely with dining services, and activity services to provide enrichment activities and social gatherings.
