Position Purpose:
To assist the Grassy Creek Asset Management & Development team with managing non-Eleven
Lodging Operations in Colorado by maintaining property upkeep and thorough attention to guest stay
details in order to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Hostel Management:
o Execute the booking, check-in and concierge for the 13 Hostel rooms and two apartments.
o Effectively and efficiently manage turnover duties including cleaning and laundry.
o Manage the Crested Butte Hostel and Laundry's social media and google business accounts.
Crested Butte Hostel and Laundry Building Management:
o Manage security, parking, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, landscaping and snow removal for the
building and common areas.
o Maintain consistent trash/recycling removal and management.
o Ensure kitchen, bathrooms and common areas are cleaned and sanitized daily.
Laundry Management:
o Maintain on-site laundry facility.
o Perform daily opening and closing duties.
o Maintain daily housekeeping and machine cleaning, including floors and surrounding areas.
o Help with laundry for Hostel, other affiliated Short-Term Rental properties and other clients as needed.
Lodging Operations for Colorado Lodging and Short-Term Rental (STR) Properties - Public House
Lofts and three short term rentals
o Monitor and Manage the bookings of CO non-Eleven properties.
o Ensure maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner working GC Maintenance team, Jetson,
and Grassy Creek CO Operational Manager before, during, and after guest stays.
o Document and assign maintenance issues using Private Life Management (PLM), the company's property management software.
o Complete checklists in PLM.
o Optimize the guest experience by performing thorough checks of property before guest arrival.
o Guest Relations - Point person for all guest communications including bookings,
pre-arrival, stay, and post-departure.
o Manage the GC Housekeeping team and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
o 2-3 years hospitality/customer service experience and/or property management.
o Basic maintenance understanding for property care.
o Strong leadership and administrative skills including email communications, Excel spreadsheet
knowledge, word processing, basic accounting understanding, calendar management and
deadline deliverables.
o Ethical finance management.
o Experience in social media management.
o Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
o Ability to stay organized in a rapidly changing environment.
o Attention to detail and high standards for building appearance and guest experience.
Preferences:
o Ability to enforce rules and standards while remaining a kind, open, approachable, and fair
manager.
o Proficiency in the use of Online Booking Platforms including Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and
Lodgify.
o Strong sense of ethical standards and understanding of maintaining a positive and collaborative
living environment.
o Possesses professional demeanor.
o A team player who is flexible regarding scheduling and daily work and takes pride our properties and hospitality.
Work Requirements:
o Weekends, evenings, and holidays.
o Availability for emergencies/on call.
o Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and climb and descend stairs.
o Ability to deal with snow removal/maintenance during winter months.
