Summary
The position supports the graphic design and visual communication needs of the college, assists with determining and fulfilling social media, photographic and video needs preparing materials for outsourcing, and quality control.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (Required)
Between 2 and 5 years of related experience (Required)
Valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's License or ability to obtain by start date (Required)
Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
(Critical) Produces digital, print and multimedia design solutions utilizing specialized software. Projects are informational, promotional and/or instructional in nature and include, but are not limited to, digital designs, social media assets, brochures, invitations, postcards, booklets, flyers, advertisements, posters, signage, billboards, special event items and exhibit materials.
(Critical) Acts as liaison between clients and vendors for all outsourced projects , including requesting and reviewing vendor quotes, determining best means of providing efficient, cost effective and timely services, recommending solutions needs, and monitoring the quality of all materials produced by outside vendors.
(Critical) Reviews and/or renews/renegotiates contract services supplied by outside vendors.
(Very Important) Inputs weekly graphic design/printing records into project management system and archive system .
